QUESTION OF THE DAY

THE IMPORTANCE SOCIAL MEDIA HAS WITH NIL & MONEY MAKING IN COLLEGE

Image
Being a college is a profession and business now. With contracts, deals, and endorsements you can make millions!!! Here are the TOP 10 NIL Earners of 2024…..Crazy to see how social media can gain you millions of dollars just by posting online.

MY PERSONAL OPINION

In my personal and professional life social media is so necessary. Being a college athlete is an entire job within itself. Social media is just one of the many things that contributes to the progression and success for myself and many college athletes just like me. Many people may not see college athletics as a “real job,” with the inclusion of NIL, more formally known as Name, Image, and Likeness but it has turned college athletics and the NCAA into a billion dollar company. NIL is something in Men’s and Women’s Sports that boost engagement and has SOOOO much monetary value when done and used correctly. Social media is life-changing and to understand the benefits of it can help you achieve your dreams and goals!!!  HERE ARE A FEW LINKS BELOW TO SHOW THE IMPORTANT CORRELATION SOCIAL MEDIA HAS WITH COLLEGE SPORTS:  https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s12208-015-0134-7 https://doi.org/10.1177/2167479513480355   https://digital.sandiego.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?ar...
